Fun with Watercolors

Day 8 and Day 16 of the Spring Card Camp 2 focus on techniques using watercolors.  So, today out came the palate and brushes, and away I went!!!

I looked in at the SCS color challenge for today, and picked blues as my theme, I did not find a way to add in the red (Lipstick) color. The watercolors I used are by Daniel Smith and I used an Inktense watercolor pencil for a portion as well. The images are by Gina K Designs. (Yeah- forst time using this set too!).  I used Arches watercolor paper. This technique was from Day 8.

Challenge:
A Place to Start- create BG using no DP

Next, I worked on more backgrounds using the technique from Day 16. I completed 2 cards using this technique. Again using Daniel Smith watercolors, and Tombow markers too.

This stamp is Unity and the sentiment Hero Arts.

Challenges: TBA

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my word your watercolor turned out amazing!! Fabulous backgrounds for sure! I love that grad card...did you make the tassel? I had made some grad cards for commission and that tassel was a pain! LOL!! (Of course I used slippery thread!) Thanks for the inspiration!

All of your cards came out beautifully with such lovely backgrounds. I find watercolors to add such a unique touch.
