I'm Back! Teapot Tuesday for Sharon

We went on a trip to celebrate my husband's retirement and his 65th Birthday!  We are beginning he next chapter!

I wanted to post this 'card kit' I made for my friend Sharon- she had a big shoulder surgery, so we had a Teapot Party for her over at Splitcoaststampers. 

 The kit idea is to make a card, and include 'ingredients' for Sharon to make a card.

I used a SU embossing folder and rubbed Turquoise ink over the top.  The piece I put in Sharons kit had the ink rubbed onto the embossing folder itself- so similar but not exactly the same. 

Next, I colored up a bluebird image by Northwoods and matted it. The Thinking of you is die cut from North Coast Creations. There is another embossing folder used for the sentiment. 

 I included a couple more die cuts for Sharon to have on hand for later, as well as some sentiments. 

Wahoo- I have work to do here, so I had better get on the ball!

Spring is a coming!!!

 Spring is a coming! YAhoo- the Pinks and pastels come out and make for non-winter themed cards-yeah!!!

 This little cutie is by CC Designs, colored using Copics.  The die is Gina Marie and the DP is The Paper Studio. 

This image was in my Use it pile, it was embossed and the flowers already colored.  I just added a touch of watercolor to the bird and the leaves and the blue in the back, and die cut it, and added a strip of DP and done.  This is Cameo Coral DP- retired SU cardstock. 

This image by Northwoods was stamped already and I just colored it in using Copics.  I googles and saw that yes, there are red Morning glories (although they are rare) as my card was to be red themed.  The background was in my technique box-just dry embossed and a Hero Arts sentiment I had already stamped added.  I sure love hummingbirds!

Another image in my Use it Box....  This is a digi by Create with TLC.  I added Color using Copics. There was a 2nd image that was a touch bent up, so I fussy cut out the butterfly and popped it up.  The background is a technique from my box waiting to be used up- quick and easy!

Christmas Crazy- Color Challenge

Day 6 of Christmas Crazy is a Color challenge.

 I decided to use Washi from my stash and the Bugaboo Christmas Moose Ornament image.  I printed the image and cut it out with a border on the Scan n Cut. I colored with Copics, I added the pinks and the blues in on the ornaments. The sentiment is by Northwoods Rubber Stamps.  If I make anymore of these, I will make a sentiment Merry Christmoose : )

Finale DTGD 2016

So this is the end of the cards I made for DTGD (Dare to Get Dirty) at Splitcoaststampers.

I made this card using a die from Memory Box that I just had to have (2 yrs ago maybe) and just finally am using it. The stamp is SU.  I cut the die out three times and layered some of the different colors on the flowers. 

 This is called a Bendi card, and there is a tutorial on the Splitcoaststampers site. It was not really terribly hard to create......  I will do this again!

 Here is a card using a Technique Junkies stamp and a digi by Create with TLC. I embossed the image in Black.

 I used this stamp set for the very first time.....  I made a CAS spotlight card.

   The color on this is a tiny bit wonky.  The stamp is Northwood and the sentiment is Create with TLC. I colored with Copics. The white BG is embissed with a script EF. There is a stencil I sponged on Ballet Blue to give a touch of dimension.

MIA just a touch again, I have my Mom here and we are not in my creative space making cards.....
