Burlap ATC swap

Before I left for Asia, I joined an ATC swap at RubberStamp Chat for Burlap ATC's.

Inspired by a recycling cardboard segment on Creative Jumpstart 2014, I made these flowers and decided to use them for this ATC swap. I made grass and leaves with painted Burlap- which I learned from the Technique Junkies. The sentiment is Rogue Redhead. I added Stickles on the flowers and all around the edge of the ATC.

I did NOT exchange this ATC, but wanted to try this technique from the segment as well...
This one would have been too time consuming to make 9 of while I was trying to pack and get everything else done! But I love the look of this!

Here are the ATC's I recieved in return:
On the Lt- ATC by Pat H aka CritterPortrait on RSC
On the Rt, ATC by Jaimie S

On the Lt- ATC by Alsmouse - the background is a beautiful metallic shimmer using Tattered Angels
On the Rt- CGStamper

On the top- this one is not signed : ( but I will edit if I find out who made it.
On the bottom- Pat Hanbery #2  looks like painted burlap but using a stamp : )

On the Top- Diane M  'Burlap Catnap'
On the Bottom- ATC by Sheila-Rose aka Yankee 'One Eyed'

And a shimmery floral ATc from the hostess Deb Lovett.

I love the fact that I knew I would be receiving some really fun mail when I got home from traveling!

Hope you have been inspired!

Happy Birthday to You.......

I joined a small RAK group for Birthdays on RubberStampChat- we make one ATC a month - sometimes two..for birthdays- and most of the time they come with a card too.....  Here is my latest duo:

I had an extra of this Sweet Stamps image on my desk, with an added sentiment- and this Prima DP  paper was a perfect accent.

I missed the recipients birthday- even though the requirement is just to get it there within the birthday month, it is always nice to get it there by the day of the actual Birthday celebration.......
I offset the cupcakes and added some $1.00 Target Spot ribbon I have had for AGES and some German Scrap.  I colored the images with Copics and added Sparkle with the Gelly roll pen. The sentiment is a retired SU set. I added distressing by DTP with brown ink.

**If you like to make ATC's- stop back tomorrow for an UNRULY PaperArts article on Glue ATC's**
(Unruly was formerly Gingersnaps).

Challenges for my card:
613 Avenue Create- Anything Goes
Catered Crop- Flower Power
Fab n Funky- Pink, Green and Brown

Thanks for stopping by!

ATC’s

I had a left-over background for an ATC from a recent ATC exchange, so I played with some metal findings I picked up at CHA Friday to finish it off.

I put the metal finding through the Cuttlebug with a Tim Holtz folder, dabbed on white paint and then dropped on Alcohol inks raisin and latte. Then, I sanded off the embossed birds.  I added the birds stamp from Artistic Outpost and ‘Torn Frames’ from the Technique Junkies newsletter.
Here is my collection of metal from Bello Modo- you will be seeing more of this- I love it!

Here is the ATC swap from RubberStampChat hosted by a friend from the Technique Junkies Deb Lovett.

ATC’s

First...I want to tell you about some Truffles.....yep good old candy that is!  A quick tutorial and a chance at some yummies- click HERE

I made some ATC’s for fun- I missed the deadline at Fun with ATC’s, but made the ATC’s anyway……
The theme was football- which is soccer here.  I used a digi image from CocoDingo with ink daubered on and the shoes colored with Copics.  Which do you like better-the red shoes or the blue ones?

Next, I cut out some pictures from a magazine and collaged them into ATC’s….I cannot remember which magazine now….
SoccerATCworldcup
SoccerATCUSA
SoccerATCworldcupflagsnnike
The last one has a border of flags of the participating teams, around the edge, then the Nike fundraiser to help stop the spread of AIDS/HIV in Africa- buy red Nike shoelaces, and Nike will donate $4.00 to the fund. These ATC’s are my first like this- they will be a good memory of the World Cup IF we get better ref’s (LOL) and hopefully the USA will advance- we’ll see on Wednesday…….
Next, as long as I am uploading pictures- here is a swap I did through RubberStampChat for Technique ATC’s.  The techniques are all really nice:

Nancy Chebuske-Guevara-Bleach technique

Diane Marr-Polished Stone
