Flip Flop

I made a rainbow slimline panel and decided it would be great for the Flip Flop technique challenge at SCS.

I used Distress Oxide inks , then put a SU mask over the backing and wiped off the ink using a baby wipe.  Next, cut the panel in 3/8" strips.  Every other strip is flipped.
I used stamps by CC Designs, and colored the image using Copic markers. The image was cut out using the Scan n Cut, and then I cut out another layer using the yellow layer with an outline layer.

Hopeful

I was asked to Guess Hostess for the Teapot Tuesday challenge at Splitcoast this past Tuesday.  I chose a challenge that looks forward to Spring- which is less than 60 days, and what we look forward to.

I look forward to green grass and flowers in the yard!!!  I stamped this floral image and colored it using Copics. I fussy cut it out and put it on a die cut circle of vellum.  The backdrop is a 3D embossing folder.
I also look forward to the end of our restrictions- we can be outside more and hopeful the sun will be shining on us!

House Mouse AG

This image is a fun one I have not tackled yet.  I wanted to color it for the Teapot Tuesday challenge at SCS.

I will try to color this image again and use different colors for the pup and the counter.  But, I love the image!  It is marked 1995.  The lady who I am sending this to loves dogs and purple, so I added purple in the image as well. She has Stage 4 breast cancer, so, as another commented, that stinks- so this image is perfect!

Jan's Mid-month post

We are in the middle of the monthly long challenge at Jan's Digital Stamps for January. Time flies! I am creating using the Sweetheart Candy set - how sweet is this!

For this card, I used the black/white image of the candy jar, and colored using Copics. The treats along the Rt edge are a mix of pre-colored and black and white candies.  I cut the images using the Scan and Cut.  The Purple base is layered with a lighter purple, embossed with a 3D EF. I added purple glitter paper to each edge of that layer.  I layered the images and added a sequin heart and a purple rhinestone.

The January challenge can be found HERE
We hope you will join us.  You can also view other car ideas using the newly released sets by the DT.

Let it Snow

Today, I did a card for the Featured Stamper challenge at SCS.

This piece of DSP from SU was sitting on my desk, so paired it with a small die and a snowflake that was on my desk as well.  The die and stamp was a tight fit......

Yep.....  but it was a fit. So, I cut a post it in half, and adhered the adhesive side under this die in the center, then put it into the stamp positioner, magnets on the post it notes....  I stamped and embossed this circle die using Silver EP.  The stamp and die are by Lawn Fawn. I added rhinestones on the snowflake for a touch of bling.

Something New

Cleaning...it's over rated...LOL  I am working on cleaning/straightening my craft space, and I am drawn to what is on my desk, so used three of the items on my desk to make a card : )

The new item is the Sending Smiles diecut from Simon Says Stamps.  Perfect that I had it cut out as the Friday Free 4 all challenge at Splitcoast is Smiles : )  I had the butterfly on my desk- fussy cut from Bo Bunny DP from a prior project that I just finished.

I am going to enter this into the SSS Wednesday challenge: Something New

I hope there is something in your day that makes you smile today : )

Alpha C=colorful

I am playing catchup today on the Alpha challenge today- I am still a few behind.  For C=colorful I used a Gelli print background and a new die : )

I was going for a rainbow type look, and this is how that worked for me. Via a Gelli Print and a stencil using Acrylic paints.   I added a diecut from Simon Says Stamps that Santa brought me for Christmas. I die cut it 3 times.  The bottom layer has the background left in, the top 2 do not, so there is dimension here that is hard to see in the picture. I colored the diecut with Copic markers. I used a sentiment strip from Simon Says Stamps as well.

Alpha challenge H=Holiday

I like to participate in the challenges at SCS, they encourage me to 'Use my supplies'.  So, today, for the Alpha H=Holiday challenge, I used a SSS Suze's watercolor card -and made a card.

This image and sentiment came together and we part of a package of images.  I fussy cut the image and used Zig waterbrush markers to color it, then added accents with a white Signo paint pen, I found this Shaving cream background in my stash and used it for the backdrop.

I am very happy with the coloring and have more of these images to color in!
