Next to You

I had a little time to color last night, so checked in with the SplitcoastStampers challenges.  The Inspiration challenge was to view a photo, and be 'inspired'.

I had this sweet image by Unity, a digital image, sitting in my 'to do' pile, so I colored it, using Copic markers, die cut it and made it into a card. HERE is my photo inspiration from Splitcoast.  I have two sisters, so the image would really be perfect with one more young lady on it, or two older, wiser women...….LOL OR, I have 2 daughters, so colored using their hair colors as inspiration.

Get Well

I was able to create using a technique from Splitcoast and using a Bugaboo image x's 3

I used a digital image from the set Floral 1  and used the Sketch challenge from last week at Splitcoast. I have had these images printed out for a while, and have been waiting to create using them, and this sketch challenge was perfect!  I am also in an Alpha challenge, and it was a week for B and Z combined, so I used blue and blooms plus Zig-Zag on the edges. The sentiment is from a sentiment set at Graciellie Designs.

I have been making lots of cloth masks.  Someone in the community asked for sewers, and since I cannot work at the hospital , I can contribute by making masks.

Dueling Darlings- Bluebonnets

Deb and Suzy decided on a theme of Spring in Texas and Bluebonnets. The blue flowers must be a sight to see!!!  I am a Dazzler and Deb sent the team I am on a kit- I made the following:

The stamps is by Deadbeat Designs. It was stamped on 110# cardstock in Royal Blue ink from Colorbox. It worked beautifully with Copic markers too!  The DP is Paper Studio and the ribbon is Offray, twine from her stash and the jewels are from Parklane.
The die is cut using a shimmery white card. The sentiments are from Deadbeat designs as well.

I used all but 2 of the DP's in the kit.

Here are the links for all of the Dazzlers and the Divas.  I look forward to seeing all of the different versions or interpretations of the kit!

60!!! Birthday fun

Today is the day for the monthly challenge at Jan's Digital Images!  I am thrilled to be Guest Designing for her using the Digital images from her store.  I made a card for my husband's 60th Birthday, which is today!

Although all of Jan's images come Pre-colored, I used the black and white versions for this card. The image is colored using Copic markers. The die is an older one from MFT.

When you open the card:

A Happy Birthday sentiment pops up when the card is open. The banner is also part of the Happy Birthday set along with the cake. The best part of digital images, you can size them to fit your project, as in the case of this banner!  The 60 and !!'s are cut using a DieVersions diecut.

You can find these sets at Jan's Digi Stamp Store

I hope you will come join us!  The challenge is Anything Goes, and you have a chance to win images from the store via Random.org drawing.

VSN Florabunda

Wahoo- feeling good enough today to color.  I used some VSN challenges at SCS for my inspiration.

I also added the Sketch challenge at Splitcoast to the VSN Holiday florals challenge.  This poinsettia is from Graciellie Designs and the DP is also digi papers from her store.  The image is color using Copics. The flower was printed twice and one was fussy cut and layered on top of the first using dimensionals.
Stamp Etching is a technique challenge for ine of the VSN challenges.  I have done this B/W, but never in color- how fun is this!

Make mine tea, but I loved coloring this up! Copics were used for coloring.  Another Graciellie Designs image and sentiment.
