Todays Sketch challenge at SCS was a nice simple one, and I turned it on its side. I combined it with a Teapot Tuesday card with a summer theme.
I love birds and birdwatching. That is, as long as their singing does not wake me up at 4:30AM....LOL I have quite a few bird feeders in my backyard, and a camera set up to take pictures, especially during migration. I also love House Mouse images, so here is a fun card using both!
The image was colored using Copic Markers. I did some stitching on the outer cardstock layers and piercing on the main panel. I die cut the letters using a Memory box alpha die cut.

Adorable card! Love the bird and mouse together looking like they are singing the day away. So cute! Great job with the sketch. We also have lots of bird feeder but had to take them down. Indiana asked everyone to take their feeders down because the birds in many counties have come down with some disease and they didn't want them spreading the disease at the feeders. So ours aren't up at the moment but we hope they can be out soon. I miss their fluttering around.
What a gorgeous card Shelly - the birds are a little more polite here (at the moment) and not waking me for a few hours after your wake-up call....

I'm with you about the birds waking us up. We are fortunate to get a lot of migrating birds since we live along the coast. Our favorite in Florida is when we get the Baltimore Orioles. Love House Mouse and I too love birds but I don't mind them waking me even if it 4am. I prefer windows open so I can hear the nature calls. Your coloring is superb as usual. This card is adorable.
