More Falliday challenges

Time spend creating today was used to make more cares for the Falliday challenges at Splitciaststampers.

Die-Cut inlays is the first challenge.

I die cut this Asian bird fromTutti Designs and an Alcohol Ink Marbling technique card piece.  Then, re-cut the die from a Copper Metallic card.  A white piece of cardstock was run through the Zyron, and adhered to the back of the technique sheet and the Copper Metallic die inserted.  I burnished translucent glitter into the openings of the bird.
The Kanji says Friend and is embissed using a Copper Shimmer EP. The Copper Metallic edging is a thin Washi tape.

This challenge was to use twine on your card.  I used a card kit that was sitting on my desk- everything but the twine and the Confetti cardstock was in the kit. The ornaments are diecut from a metallic cardstock, and the sequins are pretty shimmery too.

It was nice to get creative and fun to make more Falliday cards- it looks like the deadline for uploading is 11/20, so you'll see a few more Falliday cards/projects before then : )

Thanks for stopping by!

Both cards are really great, Shelly! Love the die inlay. Beautiful card. Great idea for using the twine. You are really busy! My week has been very busy and have the twins all day tomorrow so I'm taking today to craft. Hope to get several things done! Happy weekend. Stay safe!

These turned out beautifully Shelly! I really love that ornament design so much! I sort of missed out with the Falliday festivities this year, unfortunately. Really enjoy seeing your inspiration, so thanks for sharing your makes!
