Sweet Stamps- Floral Inspiration

It's another great challenge at Sweet Stamps .  Our challenge theme for this week is to use the floral inspiration picture below- an ode to Pink and Blue : )

I decided to create a little shabby and distress the edges of the DP and my DP butterfly using a touch of Antique Linen Distress Ink. The Coordinations was sanded (I learned that via Technique Junkies) to add to the distressed look. The butterfly was cut from the DP and I painted over the top of it using Fairy Dust Creative Inspirations Paint. The butterfly is a 2 layer die- so the top is the same cardstock as the base.

Here are the Copic markers I used on the card:

Here is the Inspiration Photo- Oh, I LOVE Pink and Blue : )

Here are the supplies I used on my card:

Nice card, Shelly. I love the colors of the flowers and the embellishments you added. I love when people sew on their cards. It looks so nice. I took my machine out a few weeks ago and for someone that use to make quilts I couldn't keep a straight line on the paper at ALL. More practice I guess. Anyway. Lovely card. Thank you for joining us at Come And Get It challenges. Bunny- DT
