McMahon Five Designs- Embossed Digi

My parents celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary last week- and when I saw the Lily of the Valley Digi set at McMahon Five Designs this week- well it is perfect for an Anniversary card!
I highlighted the image with flourishes from Parisan Accents Spellbinders in SU Metallic cardstock.  The sentiment is from Studio 313 (from McMahon Five) and I also framed the sentiment with the Parisian Accents flourishes.  I used the gold embossing powder on the brads as well so they would coordinate with the embossing powder.
I printed the digi out onto a lightweight vellum- so I could use a Technique Junkies Pierced Vellum technique. I was ready for the Vellum as it finished printing- armed with my embossing powder.

Tap off the excess and use your embossing gun to melt the powder.
I had a spot or two up at the top that did not take the embossing powder as thoroughly as I wanted it to- just use your Versamark pen- or an erasable pen to add ink to the area you want touched up and sprinkle on more powder. (If a pen is erasable that indicates that the ink does not dry right away- so it is emboss-able).

I colored the back of the Vellum with Copic markers. Then I did the pierced Vellum Technique- really adds to the elegant look.

Challemges:
ABC Challenge-variety of embellishments- flourishes, ribbon, brads and pierced Vellum

You almost make me regret having a laser printer. Wait - my lines don't run when I color - I'll keep the laser printer after all. Still, it would help if your cards weren't so beautiful!
