Mcmahon Five Designs New Release 6/23/11

 I had a fun image this week for the McMahon Five Designs release- I was able to work with an image by Designer Solocosmo who sells her Digi images at McMahon Five Designs. It is that time of year where the beach scenes are appealing to our senses, isn't it!

 I made this card using Kraft cardstock and dotted on Close to Cocoa ink.  I then ripped pieces and made the sand- sponging the edges at the top. For the background, I used a Technique Junkies technique from April 2004 called Marbled Rainbow. I added a touch by running the piece through the Cuttlebug with a Fiscars impressions plate.  I highlighted that with Versamark Dazzle and a touch of white ink, and when that was dry I added a touch of Copic marker as well.  The sun was punched from an unidentified TJ sample- all I can tell you is that it is done on watercolor paper.....  I added sparkle to the dots on her swimming suit with a Stardust Gelly Roll pen- it just does not show up too well in the pictures. Sentiment is by Create with TLC.

  I also needed a Sympathy card tonight- and at McMahon Five there is a free digi this week- Sympathy sentiments:

  And, unlike me.....I made a CAS Sympathy card with the Modern Flowers Digi's released this week.  I used the pre-colored flowers and the digi paper and the FREE Sympathy sentiment.  I made three of these tonight in less than an hour.
