Stamping out of a carry on : )

We took a week away to spend with my son, DIL and grandson this past week in Colorado.  I did bring a carry on bag with some craft supplies to create while the baby is taking his afternoon nap.

I finally inked up my Stamptember Kitchen Sink Stamp set. I used 2 challenges at SCS, one the Teapotter challenge- we are sending cards to a beautician/hairdresser in Ca., that has breast cancer. We were asked to use scissors on our cards.  So, I stamped this image, then fussy cut out the flower/butterfly and popped it up on dimensionals.  I added the leaves below that. I added splatter using a Copic marker, by flicking the sketch point against the lid. The images were stamped using Distress inks. The sentiment was stamped using Gina K Amalgam black ink.

I have a Pretty Pink Posh stencil in my bag and used Distress inks to ink it up, the pumpkin stems are colored using Copics. I had a couple of embossed pieces, this one is leaves by SU, and it works great, and I added this ribbon and twine.  This sentiment is by Create with TLC digi images. The mulberry flowers and the enamel dots were also in the bag in a baggie of embellishments to use up from past kits.  Perfect!

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! Both of these cards are so beautifully done Shelly! I love that pink splattering you've added to that top card along with the pretty flower! The second card has a mix of beautiful blended colors perfect for Fall! Good for you on being able to craft on the go while spending some precious time with loved ones too! Enjoy every minute!
