Creative Belli PLUS Design Diva's Blog Hop "Oldies but Goodies"

It is time for another Creative Belli Challenge again- For the next two weeks, we would love for you to create using FELT or FABRIC.
I combined my card with a Digital image that is an "Oldie" meaning it is more than 6 months old (and I hate to admit...never used until today) for the Design Diva's Blog Hop.
                                           close-up
I used a digital image that was the first freebie when the Crafters Digital Arts Center (CDAC) started....... it is by Priscilla styles (Priscilla is the founder of CDAC).
I got a little carried away with the needle and thread and felt...made a whole garden!  I added seed beads as accents. I colored the butterfly with Copics and added Creative Inspirations Blue Ice paint to add shimmer. I cut out a second butterfly and painted it just the same, and added a couple of dimensionals to prop it up for a 3-D look.  The background sky is sponged with Blue Bliss and a scalloped circle punch. I used green ribbons and fibers for the plant stems.

 ****************************************************************************************
The Design Diva's are a group of stampers on Facebook and we have a monthly Blog Hop using images that are greater than 6 months old. Our Title Acronym stands for: Divine, Inspirational, Virtuous, Artistic (or annointed) sistahs! Our group originated at SCS back over 2 yrs ago and has recently branched out to the new FB group. (I just joined- so am a newbie to the group....)

The Blog Hop starts with Brenda Turner and I am stop 16 of 26!  The stop before me is Melissa Cash (isn't that the cutest picture of squirrels just below the Design Divas post for today?)  and the NEXT stop is Cathy Edgar (Oh my- check out her magnificent coloring on her blog).....!
****************************************************************************************
For the Belli Challenge, we'd love to see you make a card with something with felt and then link back to the Belli Challenge in your post and provide a DIRECT LINK to your new posting using Mr. Linky at the Creative Belli Challenge blog. EASY PEASY!!!
