Alpha + Sketch

I combined the first Alpha challenge (round 15) at SCS (Alcohol Inks) with the current Sketch challenge.

I made the Alcohol ink background using pink and green Copic reinkers on white glossy cardstock.  I stacked green and pink cardstock and embossed them.  I added strips of sticky tape on the background and added gilding flakes.  Next, I cut a square of white cardstock and added double sided sticky tape, then added gilding flakes to that. Next, I die cut out a butterfly from that square. I used my circle punch and punched out three dots from the waste from the butterfly square of cardstock as an embellishment.

These colors are so me : )  I love pinks.  A fun creative session!

Thanks for stopping by!

This is gorgeous Shelly! I love the alcohol ink background. Haven't tried that since I don't have alcohol inks but I sure like the results. You butterfly is so pretty in gold. Lots of nice detail to this card. We are headed to Boston to see our boys this week. It's been 2 years since we've seen them. So not much crafting for me for a while and I'm going to have twin withdrawal too. Stay safe!
