I'm Home!!!

I did not take any stamping supplies with me while away, so once I could sneak away, I did!  I checked into the SCS challenges for today and had fun!

The Splitcoast CAS challenge today was Get Well.  I have this sweet image that I stamped in the Netherlands with my friend Hetty. (Thanks Hetty).  I used a Gina Marie die and Copic Markers.

The Technique Lovers challenge was stamping on dark cardstock.  This card looks much prettier IRL, hard to photograph with all of the shimmer.....

I made a mask for the bottom, placed the top part of it over the card, stamped Versamark on the Not Quite Navy card, then added Stardust EP.  It took on the color of the card under it.
The tree in one image.  It was stamped in white Pigment Ink, then heat set and then Distress inks were colored onto the image with Distress markers. There is a subtle text in the trees. I varied the height.  The star and the snowflakes are from Stampendous.  I added Prismacolor pencil over the star and over the snowflake image to the larger flake.  I added white dots, then silver Stickles to the centers of the larger snowflake.  I decided to add clear Stickles to the star.
The sentiment goes with the tree set- i just heat embossed that with White EP.

Challenges:
Card 1-
Dare2BArtzy- Cute Animals
Challenge Up Your Life- Frame

Card 2:
Crafty Cardmakers- Sparkle
Addicted to Stamps and More- Holiday

We enjoyed a beautiful wedding in Sonoma California area- the weather was beautiful and the power was back on!  In the few free hours we had, we visited the ocean and the Armstrong National and State Park- which was a redwood forest.

Next, we headed to Colorado- Western slope- to visit our sonm DIL and our 5 month old grandson,

The baby is so happy and smiles and giggles too!  He was great and we had such a hard time leaving.  It was great seeing our son and DIL again too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Your grandson looks adorable - 5 months is such a lovely age, but when they are our grand children, any age is perfect :)
