I hope you had a Blessed Christmas! I spent the day at home with my sis and her family joining us for Christmas dinner.
I wanted to share a card I made for the Technique Junkie newsletter- Washi Shapes. I used a die from Sweet and Sassy Stamps and some fun Washi for my card.
I added Green Distress Ink to the edges. I also added color to the star, then embossed it with some glimmery shimmery EP.
We are headed to Kentucky tomorrow for some fun family time- thinking all of the siblings will be there this year!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

This is an awesome technique, Shelly! I just got a lot of different washi tapes so I have to try this. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hope you had a very Merry Christmas, may you have many blessings in the coming new year!

I love this! And what a great idea to use washie tape for the trees. And love the touch that the distressed edges give it. Gorgeous card! Hope you had a blessed Christmas and all the best for 2014!
Loving those little washi trees! Very pretty and creative.
Have a safe trip and a good time.

I haven't tried this technique but will soon be. I love your tree die. Such a lovely card. Glad Christmas was nice for you. The last of my company was last night and now I'm staying in pjs all day as I'm off but work the weekend. Think I'll make some inchies today.
How I love this effect, they are stunning and I also love your colour palette.
