Oh Boy, this was a 'challenging' challenge for me this past month. But that is what it is all about.......
I googled learn to draw, beginning drawing, draw a face... etc....... I saw a seahorse and went to google, clicked on image then seahorse and gave this a go....... I used Copics with Copic Texturizing for the seahorse body.
My ATC's are all different, so this is going to be a long post......
This ATC was inspired by Teesha's Drawing lesson 4 fun This was a really fun lesson- the eyes were the hardest for me........
This was a scene (just as it looks) that I CASED and the top one is sponged, the bottom one I colored with Copic markers.
I CASED a card I made previously from my stash- a digi image from Designed2Delight.
This baby carriage I decided to paper piece. The only Orange Stickles I have are distress stickles- they are 'thicker' than the others I think (or they are just very, very old......)
I made a lotus flower for my 1-4-1 card and made an open up lotus on the inside:
I found this open up lotus flower on a blog- and I cannot find the link for it anymore......It is made with copy paper- I love it- it lays flat when the ATC is closed, and blossoms out when it is opened up. For the outside lotus-but if I did it again, I would use 120# cardstock so it would not bleed through.......( I made this an 'open up' ATC).
This great Zentangle ATC was the 1-4-1 that I recieved- from Diane M (on the top Lt). This picture is the entire 1-4-1 swap. We usually have 12 swappers, and last week we only had 8 of us there, one did not participate in this swap.........
Here are ATC's done by other participants in no particular order:
Michelle took a cartoon book, and drew 3/4" or 1" grids and drew a section at a time.....
Hand drawn art by Mari- who found she was able to attend the morning of the swap.....
Trees by Marcy- she swiped ink across the ATC and drew on the tree.
Zentangles drawn by Diane M.
Hand drawn art by Harriet
Hand drawn by Mary when both of her wrists were in casts and she was still in the hospital.....!
Hand drawn by Diane S.
I took pictures of all of the ATC's as we trade each other 1-4-1. When we trade, I only recieve one of each of the artists work and I wanted pictures of them all......... I hope you have enjoyed seeing all of the hand drawn ATC's. I think I'll stick to art someone else draws!
Our next adventure is 'weaving' which is more up my alley- I have lots of ideas.......
Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

Shelly, give yourself more credit. I think as do some of your other commenters that your 'handiwork' looks good. Can not say that one other ATC hand drawn were better than yours.
Wow, these are great!!
Wow it's simply breathtaking to actually see work produced by hand. A nice change from computer driven artwork we see so much of these days. Absolute talent! You are an inspiration for me to get back into producing more hand rendered art. thank you :-)
Wow!! These are awesome Shelly!! I'm so sorry I missed out gathering. I talked to Diane today - she told me about her drawings. Thanks you so much for sharing!
