McMahon Five Designs New Releases

  This weeks new releases at McMahon Five Designs are here!  I saw the Vintage Floral Ribbon image and immediately was inspired to get going on my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary album. Their Anniversary was in 2005.......!  Here is the page I created:

 This is a 12x12 page. I love this picture of my parents wedding, especially seeing my parents and relatives in their younger years.  I used Groovy Guava and Soft Suede SU cardstock behind the photo. I printed the Floral Ribbon image on White and trimmed it, then on Vellum.  I colored the White card stock with Copic markers. I printed out a couple more of the image and trimmed out some of the flowers and butterflies and bees. I placed the cut out white image behind the Vellum, and then backed that panel with Soft Suede card stock.

  I added some Groovy Guava ink to the Prima white roses and added a swirl of half pearls and hat pins to the ribbon.  

Here is a close-up of the trimmed butterflies and the Kaiser flower I sponged ink onto- I added Creative Inspirations Paint in Fairy Dust for glimmer.  I added a 3/8" brown ribbon and some pretty Prima lace.

BoniBleaux Designs- New Release Blog Hop

 Bonibleaux Designs has a new release- and it could not have come at a better time.  We have two kids in college, and AAA is our new best friend!  LOL.  The team is having a blog hop and I am thrilled to be able to participate.

 I colored the image with Copic markers. The background is a highlighted Cuttlebug folder. The Sketch is from 365 designs from 1/23. The sentiment is from Viva Las Vegas (red rubber).

Bloggers Challenge-Patterned Papers

  I am still on a PINK roll this week- it all started with the BELLI Challenge!  LOL 
  This week for the Bloggers Challenge, we are using Patterned Papers….and I have this double pocket card I folded up and never finished from ….ages ago!  (It is a Technique Junkies fold……from Oct/Nov 2007….).  Better late than never…….!
        
I am learning some new ‘things’ with the photo software…..this is the same double pocket fold….. 
The image is a freebie for the next month at McMahon Five Design. I colored with Creative Inspirations Paint in pinks of course- I also painted the Prima flowers with CI paint. The flowers and trim are also from McMahon Five Designs. 
The pocket edge trim is a MS punch- I used SU Rose Red and White cardstock.
 
The first tag is a shimmery background that I did a Colored Reversed Grid technique on- it is highlighted with Rose Red ink,. The heart is from a new SU set called Punched Potpourri. Note the brad at the top of the tag, used to coordinate with the set. The tag on the Rt is on Rose Red cardstock and is colored in Pink and then highlighted with a Stardust Gelly Roll Pen.

McMahon Five New Releases

McMahon Five New Releases are in the House!   My image this weel is by Fairydoodler and is caller The Rose

Image is colored with Copic Markers. Utee added to areas to mimic Dew Drops.  
DSP is Prima Annalee and I accented with Prima Calla Lillies, Lillies and purple mini roses. I added Basic Grey half pearls and lace too- all available at  McMahon Five Designs
(The ribbon I used was won in a blog candy from Dani.)
