My dear friend Kim just signed on to be a SU demonstrator. She had a few friends over tonight to have some creative fun. We made a couple of cards and the cupcake above. The base is a nut cup covered with a strip of crimped DSP (1" x 6") Then, we punched a pink scallop (2 3/8 ") and cut between two scallop edges to the center- overlapped one section of scallop and that formed an 'arch'. We then punched holes for brads (sprinkles) and added a cherry on top (a bead with some floral wire). How cute is that??? Kim put a piece of Styrofoam in the center to fill the cup.......

Both of these projects are adorable! I can envision the cupcake made with felt too! Is that quilling on the second card? I love quilling, but haven't done too much of it.
