COF Great Gift

Its the 7th of the month, so time to post my Crafters of Faith September card. It's also day 7 of the 30 day coloring challenge.

I made this fun card- bright and festive for a Birthday celebration!

The card looks like this when opened a tiny bit (just so you can see : )  )

And opened up for message:

Judy is our hostess this month, and this is her challenge:
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so no one can boast. For we our God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10

As September is the month both my sons were born in I like to remember that these boys were two of the greatest gifts God gave to me! (The meaning of their names is Gift of God) So I would like you to create a card celebrating a birth or another great gift God has bestowed on you.

I made a birthday card using an image from TTCRD  last Magazine given by Tiddly Inks. I am still feeling a bit sad and missing our dog that just passed- he did not look anything like this dog, but this image brought up those feelings of how much our pets bring us Unconditional Love. So, I will send it to a friend (a gift from God) and it reflects on how my dog was at my side through good and some rough times in my life (a huge gift from God).

What a fabulous card Shelly - love that fold and how well you have used it here with your doggy stamp. Yes, our pets are very good at loving us, and leave a disproportionately large hole in our lives when they leave us.

Cute card Shelly. Sorry for the loss of your faithful pet. My daughter is Sept born too.
BTW, thanks for your visit to my blog. My DH graduated from ND this May. I was there. She's now with friends in Houston (not much affected area) waiting for a job offer.

Awww, Shelly, I am so sorry to hear you lost your dog. They bring such pleasure and joy to our lives but it's so hard when we have to let them go.
Your card is wonderful. Sweet image and I like the interesting fold. You are always doing new things... me, I'm stuck in a rut. Square card, square card, square card, that's all I seem to do but you inspire me to at least think I should change it up a bit.
