Wedding Day

I made a card for the sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers for an upcoming wedding. 

 The image is from SU- I love this sweet couple.  I colored her with E 81 Copic marker and added Wink of Stella over that. I used Teresa Collins DP that I have hoarded for a few years.....  I added a seam binding bow and pearls to finish off the card. 

 This is pretty CAS for me, but love the simplicity and the image too.  The finished card is 5" x 7"

Alpha Z=Zany

Hi and Happy Weekend!

 I made a card for Earth Day today and made it into a Zany background for the Alpha Z challenge at Splitcoast.  I also recycled a card for the Ways to Use it challenge. 

 I added color using Distress inks over the original panel using Stencils.  I used a Yellow, a blue and a purple.  Then the panel was embossed, and I used Purple Distress ink on the folder. The image is Penny Black and the sentiment is CC Designs.

Stuck on You

 Wednesday is Sketch challenge day at Splitcoaststampers. I took out a mini-card kit from Terry Sermon and went to town : )

 Terry sent fun images from Hero Arts and a few sentiments as well.  Copics were used to color the image and the DP is SU and the cactus DP from Joann's. If you want to see the sketch and other cards made using the Sketch, pop over to Splitcoaststampers to check it out!

Jans April Mid-month challenge post

 It's time for Jan's mid-month posting.  The challenge at Jan's goes for the entire month.

  The Pansies are from Springtime set. The die cut is from Cheery Lynn designs. 

 I used the Sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers for this card.  The image, aka Cake and Sentiment are the from Birthday Bear set. I colored the image using Copics.

100th Birthday for a Fireman

A gentleman named Bud, who happens to be the father of a friend, is turning 100 in a week!  Yep- 100!  He started the Fire Dept in the little town he lives in, so with that in mind, made him this card:

I used a digi by KLM and colored using Copic markers. The background is from my stash-DSP from SU. The Kraft cardstock from the background was also used for the tag and for the brick the firefighting gnome is standing on.  The numbers and tag die cuts are die cuts that came with the Sidekick. 

 I used the Sketch challenge over at Splitcoast for the layout.

Sketch challenges!

Sketch challenges are one of my favorite challenges!  

 The Sketch challenge at SCS this week is a fun one.  I made this card with a stamp just rec'd from 123 Stitch : )   I love tea and love this sweet mouse chillin' 

I am entering this card in the House Mouse and Friends challenge

This slimline is another Sketch challenge from SCS.  The image is colored using Copics, and the die cut is Gina Marie.

Jan's Digital Stamps April post

 The April challenge at Jan's Digital Stamps is just beginning- always AG and open for a month.  Jan has three new sets this month : ) 

 

 I used the set called Easter Blessings for this card. 

I made a second card for this month as well- I was enjoying creating on the road with the supplies I had in my carry-on : )

 These beautiful flowers are pre-colored- I love them!  I fussy cut one image, and fussy cut the flowers out of a second image and popped them up.  I had this pretty die cut with me, and added Stickles to the centers of the flowers in the die cut.  The yellow background is done using Distress Inks. This set is called Floral Flourish.
