Asian Ladies Mingle

We have lots of mingles at the About Oriental Art Yahoo group. This is a card I made for the Asian Ladies mingle.

I took out some of my G45 coveted Birds Song DP and cut into it...... yes I did,  I cut the design in strips and then layered them at an angel in the background- used the Xyron to make it sticky.  I stamped and embossed the image, whick was on white cardstock that I colored with a E000 marker. I colored in the flowers on the top with a Copic marker. This image is on the Stonehouse Stamps plate #9.

Cards 4 Galz- black EP
CCEE Stampers- Use your stuff
Scrapy Land -Any brand of dies they carry (Memory Box stitched circles)

This is the card I received back from Wendy McGowen.

Thanks for stopping by!

You not only received a beautiful card but made one as well. Love that gorgeous paper you used and the strips at an angle give it such a unique and pretty look.

What a pair of amazing ATC's Shelly - yours is stunning with that fabulous background and love how you have the lady's arm over the strip below her.

I love your oriental cards. They always remind me of my youngest son who just loves all things Japanese. Your background is beautifully done. Love the papers and glad you "broke them out" for this beautiful card! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! The twins will be 5 months old on Monday. So hard to believe how fast they grow.

Such a stunning card. I thought it was washi tape until I read your post. The paper is lovely and I like how it's on an angle. Beautiful overall.
