It's the 15th of the month, and that means it is time for the Dueling Darlings : ) This month, Jeanette and Kelly are the hostesses, and they chose the theme, 'Christmas in July'
I had a blast coloring this sweet image- I used Copic markers and the sketch from Try Stamping on Tuesday. The die for the main panel is Gina Marie.
Jeanettes Kit contained:
Recollections 110# white CS
Sugar Pea- Merry Makers (Image and sentiment)
DP- Recollections= Christmas Noel Paper Pad
Rhinestones- Michael's
Recollections brads- can =you see the timy red brads on his shoe tips?
Twine- Target
I thought I'd create another : )
I saw this technique on Stamp TV today, and had to try it...... I used SU cardstock Real Red. I placed 1/4" Score tape every 1/2". I used Red Deco Foil. How fun. This sweet card looks better IRL, The button & Washi tape were also in the kit.
What gets us going in the Christmas mood? I think a couple of things- of course, the tree- once it is up and the lights go on, we turn on Christmas Music and that gets you going! I like it when one of the kids, at least one, is home : ) And the second- the religious dinners with motivational speakers- cause I really like to keep Christ in Christmas : )
The Dueling Darlings are a group on Splitcoaststampers. We are divided up into the Divas and the ***Dazzlers***. Each group receives a kit, and we all create with a like theme. Then, we hop to each others blogs to see what everyone has created. The links are on my sidebar- stop on by and see how the other ladies interpreted the theme : )
Thanks for stopping by!

This is such a darling & really happy little elf image. Love the way you've used him on #1 card, but especially so, on the stripes of #2. I watched that same video, and want to try the technique with foils and ultra fine glitter. Kudos to you for checking it out so fast on this card. It really turned out splendidly! Good job! TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs
