Wax/Encaustic/Crayon ATC's

My ATC group swapped Wax/Encaustic/Crayon ATC's in October.  I used Crayons for mine.... You can click to enlarge them for a better look.

Images by TH- Crazy Birds, Vera Lang digi's and Dyan Reaveley bird.

My ATC;s- HOW TO:
Scribble crayons on my pre-cut ATC's
Crumble up the ATC
Next, take a darker color and highlight the lines formed by the crumpling

Next, Iron the ATC- I placed it in between Deli paper.  You can use paper- you just DO NOT want to get wax on the iron plate.
These are my finished ATC bases.

Here are the swaps:
Lt- Linda (Wax)
Rt- Harriet (Encaustic)

Rt- Debbie (Wax)
Lt- Diane S (Encaustic)

Top- Cindy- Encaustic Wax BG with Silver embossed trees
Bottom- Mary W- the back has Black and Orange dripped Waxes

Top- Joanne
Bottom- extra collage ATC Mary W

Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

Lovely ATC's. I have those Crazy Birds and have yet to use them. I'm intimidated to use them because samples are out of this world. Your samples are terrific!! Thank you for showing your wonderful tutorial. I think I'll give it a try.

I LOVE these pictures. Thanks for sharing the photo tutorial too - this is a technique I've long wanted to try. Have got the wax, bought some crayons, still not done it (probably intimidated!) Your work turned out splendid (especially love the Crazy Bird one!) and the tutorial was great to show me how it's done. Great JOB! TFS
