Precious Friends

I am looking at some of my older stamps, and really am finding many that need to see ink : )

This is an older stamp by Stampendous from the Precious Moments line- called Friends. I stamped the image and colored with Copics.  I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday using DP from a few years ago by Prima. The cardstock is by SU.

Challenges:
Crafty Addicts- Use a Die Cut
Word Art Wednesday- AG
Die Cutting Divas- Die cut + Button
Marker Pop- Any Shape but Rectangle

I had to color another, and had to get some more pink in.....
This is retired older DP by Basic Grey- I love these colors.  More Copic coloring....  I love this sweet stamp : )  I have absolutely no clue where the sentiment is from. The sentiment and the scallop are all one. I colored the scallops in pinks and added shimmer using a Sakura Gelly Roll pen on the l ittlecircles.  Can you see the pink rhinestones in the upper Rt corner?  I used the Sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches for this card.

I have a sinus infection and lost my voice earlier this week. I had to work today, so spent yesterday on voice rest ( I normally talk lots... ).  So, I thought coloring would be a great way to keep myself occupied.

Challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks- ribbon
Simon Says Stamp- Thinking of You
Artistic Inspiration- AG + Feminine

Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

So that's the secret to why you coloured--no voice--LOL.

I am absolutely in love with these cards. I used to have a large collection of Precious Moments figurines. Remember when they were all the rage in the 80's?

Such a precious image and you did a fine job turning them into cards.

this is gorgeous. i, personally, prefer using my stamps over digis lately. maybe because i have to finagle too much on the size when i print (i have an old printer). oh well. when i get right to it... i just love making cards!

have a great weekend. i'll take the cold as long as the snow stays away.

hugs :)

This is indeed a sweet image, and you've colored it superbly in both the cards! Love the way you've done the background sky, but great shading in the actual motif as well. Pretty papers, and a nice layout design. Isn't great to have a nicely detailed stamp when you're in the mood to play with copics? Love both of these! Well done. TFS & Have a great week ahead.
