Oriental Stamp Art Challenge 247

I like Challenges- and trying new things- yep!  At Oriental Stamp Art ATC group, the challenge this week is to make a Triptych card.  I have never made one before...so had to try it!

If you Google Triptych, you come up with many options for shapes- lookie HERE.   I printed out a shape, and learned two will fit on one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock after I cut it out the other way......

I used Gold embossing on the medallions - Inside medallion and Outside Medallion and colored in with Tombow markers and Copic markers. The Chinese ladies are stamped and colored with Copics on GP white cardstock, then I fussy cut them out. The cherry blossom flowers are stamped on the lower section - I added some dots in the centers of the flowers using yellow ink mixed with Pearl pen and applied with a skewer tip- a tip given by an OSA member. I added a flower image (from the edge of another stamp) on the top edge of the Triptych. You can't see the glimmer I added with a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen.

The outside is lined with a canvas like Washi print I found on sale at Dick Blick.

Thanks for stopping by!

What a beautiful ATC. I did one of these styles before, having got the template from Stampington & Co. years ago. The outside of your ATC is gorgeous, and then the inside. Wow.

Beautiful on the front but then to open it and reveal the inside - that is so special.
Thank you for your beautiful comment you left for me to read on the Christmas card I created using one of the Nicecrane Designs - I so enjoyed making that card.
