I combined the challenge and made a Center Step Card:
The image is stamped multiple times and I used the Technique Junkie 8/2010 technique called Layer Up. The far Rt flower is 4 layers and each layer is not the same- the top layer is just the front/lower part of the floral image (no dimensionals used). The leaves are raised up as well.
I am out of town and with limited supplies...I made the oval die cut out before I left home. I used a piece of vellum my Mom had in her (small) stash, and an old picture frame as a home made stamp-a-ma-jig..... so I also made an ATC with the Vellum image I used in the above process......
I used a needle and made pokey holes in the Vellum (pierced holes Technique Junkies 4/2011) and colored from the back with Copic Markers. I had no vellum adhesive, so sewed little stitches in the corners.....
It is a nice day here, but the sky is overcast, so sorry for the bad pictures.....

Great cards. I have yet to try this center step card. You are an inspiration!
I love centre step cards so this is an Ace card for me. also like your ATC card and the idea of just attaching at the corners with stitching. Hugs Mrs A.

Lovely card and you coloring is stunning! Thanks so much for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays this week!
What a gorgeous card this is! Flowers are my most favorite image. And I love the way the step card accentuates the image.
Shelly these are fabulous creations - love the way you used the vellum for an ATC, and the wee stiched in the corners just fit to perfection.
Blessings
Maxine
Beautiful duo, Shelly! Love your step design, color palette and coloring. And the ATC is so, so pretty! :^)
Hugs, Penny
Both the card and the atc are beautiful. Love the layering on the first and the subtlety of the second. The tiny cross stitches are a wonderful way to attach the vellum to the backing. Thanks for joining our S is for ... Challenge at Craftitude this fortnight. I hope we see you again soon.
Very nice step card, I like the oval panel and a great looking ATC too.
