We're Not in Kansas Anymore.......

I wanted to share another card using the chalkboard technique- I had a blast creating an 'Oz' scene with a stamp set from Artistic Outpost.
Something a little different than the word stamps I have seen with this technique....which of course I learned from the Technique Junkies.  I used Graphic 45 DP for the background (from my stash.....)  and added some Cheery Lynn Designs corner dies, pencil, white ink and rhinestones.

I am Linking to the Artistic Outpost April Referral Program HERE. My goal is to link up a minimum of once a month at AO......
Other challenges:
Speedy and Friends- emboss in White
Simply Create Too- Use your Stash- The stamps, the metallic rhinestones, the Graphic 45 DP that I was hoarding.....!
Moving Along with the Times- Inspired by a song or Movie!
Bloggers challenge this week is - Emboss Me

Thanks for stopping by!

Really like this one and great idea to do it for the Wizard of Oz. Those corner dies are super cool! Aloha! We move tomorrow and I may not have Internet after that. :(

Great job, Shelly! This really looks cool. Those corner dies are a nice touch and the edging around the black panels (with pencil?) is so interesting! Love the bright spot on the shoes too.

Hi Shelly
What a super card! Your focal point is just amazing. The white pops out so nicely...great effect. Nicely cornered with those dies too.

The design of this card is so perfect - the gingham paper, and the ruby bling, and yellow chalk (I remember yellow chalk; why is it not part of the chalkboard technique?)
This is a stamp set that I think always is colored, but you really make an excellent argument against coloring it.

I luv the chalkboard technique and being a teacher you'd think I would have jumped all over that one but its on my to do list. I have such wonderful memories of the Wizard of Oz so your card is especially sweet to me 😊 hugs~
