McMahon Five Designs new releases for the week are out- I was enamored by this sweet digi called Amelie by Solocosmo. I had fun using some Washi Paper and my Copic Markers:
I love the sweet face on this little girl. I colored her with Copic Markers. I Paper Pieced her Kimono using Washi Paper. I also used a Technique Junkies 'Dabbed Shimmers' in yellow to coordinate with the color in the Washi paper.
The ribbon is dyed Seam Binding. I added a Zig-Zag stitch to the border of the card.
Challenges:
Paperplay- Monochromaic and ribbon
Creative Card Crew- Ribbon
Ribbon Carousel- Anything Goes
Shopping Our Stash- Starts with a B- Bow, Border die (cut up and used for corners)
Thanks for stopping by!

Shelly, this is so adorable! Love the lantern and the washi papers. Great coloring.
Shelly your card is gorgeous. It was one thing to have done the same card as you but I was going to paper piece the Kimono too but then change my mind. Can you run the paper you used on the kimono through a inkjet printer? And I want to thank you for the sweet compliment you left on my blog.
Hugs, Fran
