No Paper ATC

I joined in a No Paper or cardboard ATC swap at The Sum of All Crafts Yahoo group last month- (the link to join this group is HERE before I forget...... )we exchanged 3 ATC's and recieved 3 ATC's back.
I made sewn fabric ATC's- here they are:

I have never done anything like this before- and I am always up for trying something new! I saw THIS post and This post, and WOW- can I try to sew an ATC- if Lynn can, I can...try.....LOL
Directions:
I took a piece of eyelet fabric and measured out my dimensions- now a finished ATC measures         2 1/2" x 3 1/2- so I added 1/4" on all sides for the seam- except in the middle- as I simply folded the fabric in half at the middle.

By the way- the purple pen I am using is from the fabric store- it disappears after a while......there are also blue pens at the fabric store- the ink disappears with a little dab of H2O.......

Once I have all of the measuring done, sew on lace, trims, etc....I also used collage pictures from The Sum of all Crafts for my ATC's.  I do put right sides together and sew three sides, and 1/2 of the final side- then turn in the seam allowance of the final edge and finish it off....I finished mine by top stitching- I went all of the way around....mine are not perfectly straight- but that is what makes them unique, right???

Here are the ATC's I received in the Swap:
This is a heavy acetate- I am going to guess Alcohol Inks were used- fabulous IRL. I took the picture up against a window- love this! This is by Mags. (The little dark spot in the center of the leaf is her name on the back side.....).

How creative is this idea???  This is needlepoint canvas.....  The fiber is adhered around the edges. Very cool!  This is by the Swap Hostess Claudine.

And finally, a fabric ATC-straighter than mine turned out too.....with an image stamped onto the fabric. You cannot see too well, but the belt has mini beltloops-with tiny stitching on both sides....too cool! This is made by Amy aka Stamp Tramp.

I hope you enjoyed my ATC post- I have a few more ideas for making future ATC's now!
Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly
