I made a card with the Progressive Digi challenge over at DeeDee's Digi's.
I have not been using digi's a lot, so was inspired to try to make one card a month for this progressive challenge....and, I printed out a pre-colored image, so the card came together really quickly!
I used a background made of Dylusions sprays to coordinate with the image colors. I made dots with a White Faber Castell PITT Artist Pen, and made black swirls in the center with a touch of Orchid SU Marker in the centers. I thought the circles would mirror the dots on the egg. I was possessed to doodle a bit as well- I do not do that too often and just let loose and had a blast!
The first digi to start in the challenge was only $1.25- I think it is always so fun to see what people do when creating with the same image!
Challenges- inspire me- so:
One Stitch at a Time- Use a Digi
Card Makin Mamas- Splish Splash

Sweet Stamps Monthly Challenge- Inking Stamps with Markers
We are inking our stamps with Markers this month at Sweet Stamps. You have a month to join in- we'd love to see what you come up with!
I inked up the shoe image with markers and stamped them randomly. This is called the Depth of Field Windows- a technique I learned thru the Technique Junkies newsletter. I used Distress Markers in these colors: Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey and Broken China. My Coordinations cardstock that matched are Amaralys and Nassau Blue.
I had the opportunity to play with the {New} Enamel Embossing powders. The Cranberry Wine is pink and has lots of sparkle : ) Ohh la la! I also used Brownstone enamel EP on the key. This is such wonderful Embossing Powder to work with.
I won the beautiful ribbon at 3 Girl Jam- it comes variegated- so pretty IRL.
Here are the supplies I used to create this card:
I hope you will join in the challenge! Every entry qualifies you for a chance to win $20 of items from the store at Sweet Stamps, and if you use a Sweet Stamps image- you will receive an additional chance to win! The winner is chosen by Random.org- so everyone has a chance to win!

Sweet Stamps- Lucky
It's Tuesday- so that means another great challenge at Sweet Stamps . Our challenge theme for this week is Lucky. I decided to try the Card in a Box this week.
How fun are these cards! They do fold down to fit into an envelope..... I found a tutorial- HERE thru Pintrest that fits into an A-2 envelope. Here is a pic of this box folded down flat:
My Dad is 100% Irish, so I have to say I love St. Patty's Day cards ...and I also love Corned Beef and Cabbage too : )
I added some of the images on thin strips of acetate. I cut the sentiment into pieces and added them in a graduated fashion for more dimension. I added shimmer with Fairy Dust Creative Inspirations Paint and the Sakura Gold Gelly Roll pen.
Here are the supplies I used on this card:

Washi fun- MFP Swap
I joined in a swap in Feb. with Mark's Finest Paper with an Oriental theme. I made a card with a technique from the Technique Junkies called Washi Herringbone technique.
I colored the image with Copics and cut it out with a slender white border.
Here are the cards I recieved back:
This is from Pat G- I love this card- so sweet!
This is from Cindy B. I love the embossed Kanji- what a cool touch!
And I am going to post Sue Wisniewski's card inside and out:
So pretty IRL.
Mark's Finest Papers sent us a small stamp set for joining in the swap
There is a swap in March, but it is not Oriental Themed. The next Oriental Swap is in April- there are still a few slots open- you can check it out HERE.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Stamps-Spring Flowers
It's another great challenge at Sweet Stamps . Our challenge theme for this week is Spring Flowers.
I used a Technique Junkies technique (latest newsletter) called Emboss Sparkle Resist. I used Pink and Red Distress inks and embossed the sentiment with Black Sparkle embossing powder. I am not sure if you can see the sparkle I added with the Gelly roll pen. I also dragged the butterflies thru Wild Honey ink and painted them with Creative Inspirations Fairy Dust paint.
I also added a panel to write on inside:
I LOVE Roses- my Mother (and BIL Jay) are Master Rose gardeners and I admit- I am not quite so good at growing them myself. I really admire seeing them in gardens or in neighbor's yards as well.
Here are the Sweet STamps products I used on my card:
