DTGD post 8

The Splitcoast Dare To Get Dirty aka DTGD challenges are keeping me busy in my stamp room!  I am enjoying creating very much.  Here are a few more of the cards I made for the challenges.

This image is by Michael Strong Stamps.  There is a faint technique in the BG, but I am really happy with the beauty of this flower!
I am going to enter this in the Lemon Shortbread challenge- post #100!

This card uses House Mouse stamps and a stencil by MFT.  The sentiment is from a Sweet n Sassy set.
I am entering this card in the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge. The House Mouse challenge is AG with a twist- Back to school.

This is a Stampin Up background from 2003- a real blast from the past!!! I used SU inks on glossy cardstock for the color.  I am entering this in the Retro Rubber challenge.

This Stampin Up set is from 2006.

I did this the hard way- I cut out both the background and the holographic foil with a Cheery Lynn die.....  Then, had to piece this all back together.  I did flip a couple purposely just for fun, and I am liking the way it looks.  I ran it through the Big Shot once done, to really flatten the pieces in there!

One or two more posts and it will wrap up the week!

Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

Another amazing selection of cards Shelly - loving the lily one, and the final one is a beauty too. There's something about making a lot of cards that seems to spark the mojo!

2003 really is retro! I don't think I even knew stamping was a thing in 2003! I like your blended background in this one. The twine is a nice finishing touch. Thank you for joining in with us at Retro Rubber Challenge this week.
