COF March- scene with sunrise/sunset

We are inspired to create each month on a reflection by a group member- this month is Liz, and we made Sunrise/sunset cards.

Psalm 40:3 NLT: "He has given me a new song to sing."

God is never boring and is always creative. Just look at the beauty in every sunrise and sunset. Although they apprear in the same direction of east and west everyday, no two are ever exactly alike.

I seldom like to create the same thing twice myself, so I must be God-like with my thinking in that regard. Kalidiscopes have always fascinated me with their intricate patterns, but no matter how many times you look inside, you are not likely to see the same exact colors or patterns every time.
So, although God never changes, His methods do. So don't try to keep God in a box, and allow Him to be creative and do wonderful new things in your life.

Feature a sunrise or sunset on your card and just as different as our cards will be, aren't you just amazed at every new day that God gives us? Be adventuresome with your faith to get out of the box that might seem most comfortable to you and don't let your comfort restrict God's plans for your new song He has for you to sing.

Inspired by a Zindorfian idea...LOL I made a scene with Distress inks and colored with Distress Markers- and it is a ONE layer card- no other embellishments- quite a challenge in itself for me!!!

Oh Shelly, this is beyond amazing! You've created a masterpiece here with this beautiful card - love the shading and the 'white wash' look. Those flowers - WOW! You absolutely nailed this challenge, my friend! SOOO glad you came back as you ARE the COF ♥

I love the background on your lovely floral card. Enjoyed reading the post, as I always enjoy seeing a magnificent sunset. (now that I'm retired, not usually up to enjoy the sunrise, but I used to see those as I drove to work!) I'm in agreement with you on not making the same card....I know people who assembly-line the same design for Christmas cards, and while I admire their patience, I'd get bored with making so many just alike. (I get boring enough not doing different card folds!!!)
TFS & Have a great weekend.
