Japanese Colors

I made a card using Japanese colors for this time of the year for a mingle at the Yahoo Group "About Oriental Stamp Art".

I was able to use a couple more unused stamps- my goal again for this year.
The geisha is from I Brake for Stamps. The Plum Blossom image is from a stamp sale and was not marked. The Plum Blossom Kanji is Art Neko.  The images were all colored with Copics.
How fun to use your stash as well- the Glittery Washi I just had to have, and it works perfectly for the color theme.

Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

What a wonderful card Shelly! Love the colors and I'm not sure I would have associated those with Japan. You do oriental so well. I have a bunch of unused things that I'd love to get to one day. The twins definitely keep me busy, busy. I'm there almost every day or they come to our house sometimes. They are growing like weeds and have almost tripled their birth weight. And they are so different from each other. Valerie watches your every move. She loves to be talked to and sung to and laughs and smiles. Arthur has rolled over already and he's just starting to smile but he rarely look sat you or focuses on a person. He's always looking at something else. They are such fun but exhausting. Have a wonderful weekend!

The embossing is fabulous, and I love the pairing of these bright colors. A beautiful background for this sweet Geisha. How wonderful that you had the perfect emblem to handle the sentiment too! TFS & Hugs (when you're using NBUS, be sure to check out Darnell's NBUS challenges too!)
