BEEcause

I wanted to create with some holographic embossing powder I got a while back, so put it to use on this card:
I did not know what I was going to get with the EP. I know it looks better on dark colored cardstock, so I just used black for starters. I will play around with it more, but I think it may change colors more if you apply more heat to it.
I decided to use an image from Michael Strong Stamps- nice and springy : ) I cut apart the image into individual segments, and used the shape as a starter for my background. I popped up the bee on dimensionals. I used a hexagon stencil and added distress inks to the background- I added a little purple to the background too as well to tie in the purple from the embossing powder.

I am going to add this to the Crafty Gals Corner where they are asking us to use Yellows. The Artistic Inspirations is AG with a twist of flowers. Sparkle and Sprinkle want us to use anything loose like EP ,glitter, flocking, etc.....

Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

Well done, Shelly, I have some iridescent EF and find a flat image doesn't tactics the sheen on it well so even though it may show up in real Ife hard to photograph. I find. It works most on black Versafine ink. My very fav. ink for embossing, just ordered a refill for mine.
Lovley card though love the layout.
Thanks for the inspiration,
