Ten and Twenty

Inspired by a friend, Lynn,  who makes 10 and 20 minute cards with her stamps, I made some CAS cards.
This stamp was at Hobby Lobby, and my Mother thought it was fabulous. So, I bought it and made these cards for her. This is a flat, One layer CAS card. I colored with Copics and added sparkle with Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
I am going to enter a challenge for CAS at For the HeART.

For the 20 minute card, I stamped the image twice, fussy cut out the butterflies and added glue to just the center of the butterflies. I added sparkle to these cards as well. I am going to enter the CAS challenge at Creative with Stamps with this card.

I was out of town this weekend, and was fortunate enough to spend the day with my Mother today.
I will catch up on blogs as the week progresses!

Thanks for stopping by!

What fun to see your post today, Shelly! I love these beautiful butterflies on the creamy peach color. Such a dreamy feel.

The fussy cut and double stamped butterflies have such a feel of movement popped up and matted in blue!

Thanks for the shout out!

Gorgeous cards Shelly and I'm sure Mom loved them. I really like the dimension of the butterflies too.
Wowsa... 10-20 cards with one stamp? Are they made for that? hahahhaha... I have about 6 stamps I use more than once so I figure each cards costs me around $15 to make... so much for 'I can do that and I can do it cheaper'!

Pretty cards, Shelly! I really like the second one with the dimensional butterflies. I don't think I could fussy cut them and make it within 20 minutes though. Great job!

Beautiful cards, Shelly, I know your mom loves them. Dang, I'd probably die of shock if I were to make a card in 20 minutes! Sad but true, lol. xoxo

The sentiment and butterflies are lovely. You coloured the butterflies up nicely. Glad you got to spend some time with your mom. I'm in Canada and my mom is in Atlanta, so I see her every 3 to 4 years.

I love this sentiment, Shelly, and adore the simplicity of your card. Amazing what we can accomplish when we have a time limit, isn't it? :-D

These are so pretty, Shelly! I love the 10 & 20 concept...look how lovely they are in that amount of time. I haven't been to HL in quite some time. I may have to take my mom for a trip to see how she inspired me to come up with something. Hope all is well in your world. I've missed visiting your blog. Have a happy, blessed day!

Both of these are so pretty. I really love the dimension the fussy cutting gave the butterflies in the second one.
