Washi Kindness

Another Kindness card:

The sentiment is from Create with TLC. I cut the snowflake with Paper Temptress shimmery cardstock- closeup:

The snowflake cardstock is Poison Ivory and is a tiny bit off white- and very shimmery IRL. The Die is from Memory Box (Sweet STamps carries them).  The background is another Washi tape background  (Washi Flip Flop from Technique Junkies Washi Tape CD), like the one I made for my previous post.

Challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts- Sparkle (snowflake)
Word Art Wednesday-AG
A Snowflakes Promise- Winter/Christmas

We have a White weekend here- with between 6-8 inches of snow.

This was just a week ago

Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

What a gorgeous card!! I love your washi backgrounds!! The snowflake is fabulous!! And oh my, the snow. We had some the other day...big fat flakes. Thankfully they melted pretty much as soon as they hit the ground. I'm not ready for snow!! Have a great day :)

What a wonderful card Shelly - love those backgrounds you are creating with the washi tape. What a contrast in your weather - we are heating up here (70 o F) today, and we are onto watering the gardens now :-)
Blessings

Love the colors in your card...Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful project with us this week at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with the encouragement of God's Word in Psalm 27:1 which says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?" Hugs and blessings!

Beautiful card Shelly, I just love the colours of tape you used. I can't believe the difference in those two photographs, I wouldn't even have recognized the landscape if you hadn't told us it was a before and after set! Wow, that's a lot of snow in a short period of time. We got our first snow on Monday evening and it was beautiful, but the next morning it was all gone. big hugs :)

This is absolutely gorgeous, Shelley. Love the variations in color and the beautiful sentiment. The weather does change fast around here doesn't it? While we had some snow it melted quickly here. Both of your pictures are beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving!

This is gorgeous and I love the colours. The sentiment is perfect for it too.
Wow, do you have a lot of snow! Just a skiff on the ground here and we got that last night. It can stay away and so can the cold temps... brrrr. Those first cold days seem like I'm in a freezer but I guess it's that time of year and a couple more weeks and I'll be used to it.

Grand idea with the washi tape. Just called hubby over to see the photos of your garden and he was struck by the difference with the red tree minus its leaves covered in snow. We have had a small flock of Redpoll arrive in our garden today from Scandinavia. they have been busy feeding on the bushy flowers that I let go to seed for the birds to have during winter. It is getting colder here but so far no snow. Hugs Mrs A.

Great cards and a wonderful way to use up some supplies. Look at how quickly things change in just a week, the snow is beautiful though. I am certain it is not so beautiful when you are digging out:-)

First of all, your snow is beautiful. And I am so glad it is there and not here, lol! :^)
Love your gorgeous card! Really pretty palette and papers, great design, and that sentiment is so sweet! Love the die cut, too! :^)
Have a great weekend! Your Bears won again & I was so happy--keeps the Packers at least a game back from us! Snicker...
Hugs, Penny
P.S. Glad we played your Bears early in the season. They seem to be really gelling now!

Love the washi cards!! I have a ton of tape but I always forget to use it. I should get on that so I can get some new designs!! We got a few inches of snow as well and then it turned cold (0 for a low). Brrr!! Is it too soon to wish for spring? :)

Lovely winter card! We didn't get the snow here in Missouri but the temperature sure has dropped a bunch. Not sure I am really ready for the cold weather.

More washi inspiration. Love it. Maybe I'll actually pull mine out and use it. This would be great for a Herringbone pattern as well.
