Hope You Can Cling to- challenge 8

A card for the Hope You Can Cling To HYYCT8 challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.

This is a card kit that has been sitting on my desk for a very long time. I won it in a Facebook Group called Christian Cardmakers from Ginny Maxam.  I added color using Copics and there is a lot of shimmer on the flower added with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I added a strip of DP under the musical notes ribbon.
Next, I added home made enamel dots.  Yep- I bought a giant tub of Perler beads, cut each one in half, and put them in the oven......  I found the link on the internet : )  Pony beads work as well, but they turn out pretty large.

I do not know who makes the image or where any of the papers come from.

Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

What a gorgeous card Shelly - love that flower. I have used that stamp once in a card class, but cannot remember the maker.

How clever to make your own beads. I really like how you have the music going along the centre of your card which is coloured up lovely by the way.

It's beautiful! I love those colors. I'd never thought to cut the beads in half before baking them into enamel dots! Good idea!

This is so lovely & soft...I like the pink petals - so very pretty. Like the image against the vintage music as it is, with the sepia shading, and that sunny little butterfly. Absolutely love the way you did the background - inserting the music score between the blue papers. Really stunning. TFS & have a great Sunday.

Absolutely fabulous! I simply must make these perler beads as the enamel dots are a bit pricey and I use them too often! This is so soft and serene - lovely take on the challenge, Shel! Blessings, friend ♥

Beautiful, Shelly! Great background and it really serves the image so well. I'm playing catch up again having been to a conference last week. :-D
