Altered Playing Card challenge Week 5

I am playing along in the ALteRed  PlaYing CarDs challenge found HERE.  I am finally caught up- whew!  So, here are my Week #5 ATC's.
I am using supplies I have not touched in ages!  I have little ATC booklets and find I do not collage to much, so never seem to use these.  So, it is great to try these techniques.

For the ATC on the Lt- I painted the background brown, and painted the stencil on the BG in light blue and highlighted over the light blue with a darker blue. I added a little Washi on either side of the image.  The black on the Lt side is done with a Sharpie and I added highlights in white paint.

For the ATC on the Rt, I collaged the BG with Washi paper and highlighted around the washi edges in Antique Lien ink and then a fine point black sharpie.  The image is from an Asian themed ATC booklet and the stickers from G45 Bird Song. The gold stickers are Elizabeth Craft.

Thanks for stopping by!
Shelly

Don't you love it when you use supplies or items that have been neglected! Love the painted and collaged backgrounds all the images. What great fun. Love these!

Great work! You did good GF. I worked on 2sets tonite trying to catchup. I find it hard working so small with so much "stuff"

I came soooo close to using some beautiful washi paper for the collage card. So I really appreciate your stunning card! And of course, the other one is great too. I'm really digging into the stash I've collected and am having fun using it!

holy moly! these are fabulous! they look so intricate!!!!

chilly weather doesn't bother me too much, but COLD weather does. can't say i didn't know it was coming - LOL.

i do not make multiples of my cards. i can't stand the repetition. everything is one-of-a-kind. keeps everyone happy too!

have a great week.
