Paper Perfection Blog Hop

Do you love Designer Paper like me?  You buy it and then you cannot use it....... Then one day you realize you have gobs of it and need to use it up so you can buy the new papers on the store shelves......!

There is a new CD by Pat Huntoon from The Technique Junkies called Paper Perfection- and today the TJ design team is showcasing a few of the techniques from the CD. There are lots of great ways to use up all of that hoarded Designer Paper!  The Hop starts HERE at the Designer Blog.

I have chosen two techniques to showcase- the first is called Woven Designer Paper. It is really quick and easy!
This is Bo Bunny DP and I used stamps By Mark's Finest Papers- a TJ sponsor. I colored the butterfly with Copics and added Fairy Dust Creative inspirations Paint for some shimmer.

I made a 2nd card- I accidentally started on the Right side of the DP, so I just went with it and here is what I created:
The sentiment image is by Sweet and Sassy stamps- a TJ sponsor company. The Butterflies are made using a shimmery cardstock by Paper Temptress.

The Faux Mosaic technique is also included on the CD- I created a card using this technique as well.
I used an image by About Art Accents/Art Neko- a TJ sponsor company. I colored the image with Copics and used Washi paper and Graphic 45 Bird's Song DP.

You can see the index to the CD HERE

Here is the Blog Hop order in case you get lost along the way:

What a great technique - I particularly like your second card where the contrast between the papers is so bold.

Wow--three beautiful cards, Shelly! Love the woven look--so textural on both cards! And your faux mosaic has the most gorgeous DP on it! Great way to use up DP, for sure! :^)
