Sweet Stamps- Easter

Easter is the theme at the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog this week. I have some gorgeous Easter stamps and wanted to try Parchment crafting- here is the card I created:

I used two stamps for my card- the Elegant Scrollwork Frame and the Small Cross image. I used the
White Shades Dye ink and the Parchment Craft Vellum. I then used the Soft Grip Stylus tool to 'shade' in the areas between the stamped lines.
Next I went to work poking the holes in the area between the darkened lines.  I did this by placing the vellum piece on top of the Staggered Magnetic Grid- which is used over the Piercing/Perforating Pad. I used the 2 Needle Pergamano Piercing Tool thru the grid holes to make the pierced holes.  You can also turn the image face down and rub over the grid to get an embossed look of the little holes in the grid.

I colored the image in from behind- using Sandcastle Shades Dye Ink for the cross and Sunrise Orchid for the cross accents and bow using the Dove Blender Pen.

To complete my card, I used the 4-Split Perforating tool around the edge and that cuts out the image.

Here is a You Tube Video that shows Parchment crafting.  There is a kit that you can purchase that has all of the basic Parchment supplies in it HERE.

I hope you will join in the challenge!  Every entry qualifies you for a chance to win $20 of items from the store at  Sweet Stamps, and if you use a Sweet Stamps image- you will receive an additional chance to win! Please note- there is a limit of 10 challenges for each entry.
