Everything is coming up *Roses* at Sweet Stamps

I am excited to be part of the Sweet Stamps team- and this is my first challenge post- with the theme of * Roses*.

I hope you will join in!  Each entry qualifies you for a chance to win $20 of rubber stamps from SweetStamps, and if you use a Sweet Stamps image- you will receive an additional chance to win!

I used the SweetStamps Vellum for my image- after first swiping the static guard across it- to minimize static and flyaway embossing powder.  I embossed using the Ranger Queen's Gold Embossing powder. (When I first met SweetStamps at a trade show, I bought some of this- it is my favorite embossing powder- the color is gorgeous). I colored with Copic Markers on the front side of the vellum.

For the brads- I did not have a matching gold color, so I dipped each brad tip in Pigment ink and then embossed the tip with the Queens Gold Embossing powder.

I used a Cheery Lynn Die- Italian-deconstructed- I think the edges mimic a heart, so I added that accent in the corners- and sponged on a touch of Satin Rose Shades die ink for a little pop.

The background still needed a little something, so I scored in diagonals every 3/8". The Pink and Gold shimmery cardstock is the icing : )

Sweet Stamps Products with links to store used on my card:
Queens Gold Embossing Powder, White Pigment Ink, VellumStamp-Rosy Heart 7067 , Copic markers sets,   Cheery Lynn die-Italian Doily, Satin Rose Shades die ink.

For a view of the rest of the DT versions of Roses- HERE is a link to the blog post.

A few challenges to add for my post:

The Crazy Challenge- Valentines Day
Catered Crops- Hearts
Creative Inspiration Paints- Hearts

Beautiful coloring of the roses on the vellum (Queen's gold is one of my favorite colors of EP too). Love what you did with the Italian doily die, it really does look like hearts.
