McMahon Five Designs New Releases 9/1/11

I had some relaxing time today to create a few cards for the McMahon Five Designs new releases for this week.
I used the Fanny Flapper image for this card. I colored the image with Copic markers and added highlights with Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I used the Torn Frames technique from the Technique Junkies to border the image.  I used Basic Grey Capella DSP and the Midnight Madness Sketch for the card. I added Designer Rhinestones by Prima on the top Lt and bottom Rt.

Next, I made some CAS cards- really- I do not find CAS too easy, but this great set had lots of choices and I was so surprised how quickly these cards came together. This set by Studio 313 is called Sophisticated Phrases and can be found HERE.

This card uses shimmery purple textweight cardstock that was scored around the edges for dimension. I added the sentiment panel, a ribbon and some silver cording and popped up the dang fine stone on dimensionals. My nephew was just married- so in the mail this will go.......

I just happened across the 365 challenge using this sketch for 'White Space'.  This dark pink cardstock is super shimmery-it adds fun sparkle.  I made the twine using THIS tutorial by Lindsay.

Next I used the Hot Air balloon set in blue.  I used a Glimmer Mist Water colored background using Yellow, Blue and Graphite Glimmer Mists. I added Bakers Twine for a little accent.

There is a great tutorial on the McMahon Five Designs website that tells you how to take an image and change the color of it.  So, you could take the hot air balloon and make it a different color.  THIS is the link for the tutorial.

Wow Shelly you must have been on a roll - these are all amazing - I love that Fall Phrases set and you have used it amazingly!!
The way you framed the flappers is fabulous, and to match the paper and the seat was a genius touch. :-)
