McMahon Five Designs- From Pink to Halloween.......

Huh?  Well, you know I cannot pass up a chance to use pink, right???  I had to make a card with this precious Baby Calla Lilly image by Solocosmo from McMahon Five Designs:
Isn't she precious?  Perfect Pink opportunity, right?  Although, this could be done for a baby boy too IMHO......  I colored the image with Copic  markers. Next, I used the Dot to Dot technique from the Technique Junkies CD #9. I cut out the frame with a Nestability.  I added corner accents with Parisan Accents Nestability and pearl accents top that off.  I added pink roses by Prima (mini roses and Fairytale roses in pink) and a touch of lace. There is a Zig-Zag stitch around the perimeter of the card in Pink.  Designer paper is Basic Grey Eva.
***********************************************************************************
Switching gears- I played with a really fun Halloween image called Halloween Dress Up by Studio 313 from M5D as well.  I used the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #123 as a starting point.

I used Copics to color the image and added Sakura Gelly Roll shimmer for accents. The Nestability frame is from Metallic cardstock (isn't that fun?).  I added some MS punched Spider Webs and Crafty Sentiments stickers in the halloween theme.  I also punched out Stars using a retired SU punch. There is a tulle bow with an orange rhinestone at the top Rt too.
Here is a close-up of the shimmer:
***Did you know there is a McMahon Five Designs aka M5D gallery on Splitcoast Stampers???
If you use a M5D image and upload a card- tagged with M5D or McMahon Five Designs, you will be entered into a chance drawing for a gift certificate offered randomly by M5D owner Sue McMahon- winners are announced in the M5D newsletter. *****

Two awesome creations Shelly!! I just love the pink with the darling image and the flower detail!! the second is a fun Halloween card. Beautiful designs and workmanship!!

Unfortunately I don't really like Halloween like most. Guess it was the way I was brought up.

Hope all is well!! Have a great day!

Love that Calla Lily card - the background dp and cutouts really make it look as though you have 'found her' in a garden :-)
Halloween is not a 'big' thing here, but I must say the metallic highlights look great.
