McMahon Five Designs Pretty Girl

I enjoyed the new releases from McMahon Five Designs today- I wish I could win the lottery and stay home and stamp and create all day...
I chose to work with Pretty Girl #4

This is one of those 'looks better in real life' cards.  The background is made with Glimmer Mist and is called Glimmer Mist Watercolors. I used this Technique Junkies technique using Graphite and Kiwi Green Glimmer Mist. The card is really shimmery IRL. I colored the image with Copic Markers and highlighted it with the Wisped Frames TJ technique.  I embossed the shimmery background with the Cuttlebug Scrollwork embossing folder.  I used an older Confetti cardstock and a Prima Madeline patterned paper to accent the colors I chose to use.  The Antique White seam binding was the finishing touch.

I found a tutorial for tying a bow on a fork....really.....HERE is the link- I am loving this for small bows!  Thanks Di!

Challenges:
Gingersnaps- Use your Mists
Amber's Crafts and Stuff- Special Lady
Crafts and Me-Swirls
Paper Variety-Mists (Glimmer Mist)
Sweet Stamps-Vintage
Tiddly Inks- For Mom, with a Vintage feel
Try it on Tuesday- Use something older than 6 mos, something newer (finally using the seam binding!)
Kaboodle Doodles-use a B embellishment (bow)
Cheerful Stamp Pad-Girls with Curls
One Stitch at a Time-Embossing

Thanks for stopping by!
